Chelsea Depot Response to Covid-19

We have experienced a large number of cancellations due to Covid-19. This has been an extremely trying time for all of us. However, if you can possibly postpone your event, rather than canceling,

it would be very helpful in supporting the historic Depot. If you absolutely must cancel, we understand, and will refund any deposit and/or rental fees previously paid. Please contact  Marsi@ChelseaDepot.com

According to the rental agreement, refunds are made only if the depot can be rented on your date, but obviously this does not apply in this situation. The $50 fee withheld from canceled deposits will also not be in effect.  We hope that you'll be able to book a date at the depot again very soon. Thank you. Stay safe!

Guidelines for Rentals during the Pandemic

If you plan to hold an event at the historic Depot in the near future, we ask that you adhere to state guidelines and restrictions as they occur. Those laws may be found at Michigan.gov. Please use common sense and make sure your guests are healthy, practice social distancing, do not crowd the facility (limit guests who are there at one time) and encourage wearing masks as is now the law in indoor spaces, except for eating and drinking. Wash hands frequently or use hand sanitizer, and encourage your guests to do so.  If we all do our part, it will hopefully help return our lives to normal once again. Thank you for your cooperation.

The historic Depot space did not go to waste

during the first several months of the pandemic.

Thanks to depot board member Todd Gillihan,

the depot was used to make and distribute

PPE gowns for many facilities in need in Michigan.

to be amazed at what they've accomplished!
